On Tuesday, August 19, 2014, the City Council will be appointing members to serve on the General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC).  The GPAC will serve as ambassadors of the project and will help guide the process and provide policy direction and feedback for staff.  The Committee will be comprised of 11 members, including the following:

• Two City Council Members
• One member from each of the following:
  • Bicycle Commission
  • Environmental Quality Commission
  • Housing Commission
  • Parks and Recreation Commission
  • Planning Commission
  • Transportation Commission
• Three At-Large Members (Members may either live, work or own property in the City of Menlo Park.)

The GPAC will play a critical role in the General Plan Update.  The first GPAC meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 25, 2015.
