City Manager Alex D. McIntyre announced interim appointments for two key management positions.
Nick Pegueros will serve as the interim administrative services director (underfilling the vacant assistant city manager role). Mr. Pegueros has over 15 years of local government experience including having served as town manager in Portola Valley, finance and administrative services director in Los Altos Hills and assistant finance director for the city of San Bruno. Mr. Pegueros holds a B.A. from Columbia University and an M.P.A. from the University of Washington.
McIntyre announced Clay Curtin would serve as the interim finance director. Mr. Curtin has worked for the City of Menlo Park since 2013 as the assistant to the city manager. Prior to that, Curtin worked in southern California for the cities of West Covina and Manhattan Beach. Curtin holds a B.A. from Washburn University and an M.P.A. from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
Over the coming months, the City will conduct recruitments to fill the permanent positions.
