City Manager Alex D. McIntyre has announced the appointment of Jesse Quirion as Public Works Director effective December 14, 2014. Mr. Quirion has served the Menlo Park community since May 2013, first as the Transportation Manager, and most recently as Interim Public Works Director. Prior to Menlo Park, he held public sector positions with the cities of San Jose, CA, and Port St. Lucie, FL.

“Jesse has demonstrated strong leadership skills and overseen several high-profile projects that have been a priority for the City,” said McIntyre. “He has great communication skills and has taken the helm quite well as Interim Director. His knowledge and experience have prepared him to take the Public Works Department into the future.”

Quirion earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Master of Public Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University.
