October 8, 2014
7:00 - 9:00 PM
City Council Chamber
The purpose of the Traffic, Transportation, Circulation and Mobility Symposium on October 8th is to increase understanding of various ways to measure traffic impacts, including conventional intersection Level of Service (LOS), roadway segment LOS, Multi-Modal LOS, and Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT), and discuss which may be best suited for Menlo Park.
MOBILE TOUR #2 - OTHER COMMUNITIES
October 14, 2014
12:30 - 3:30 PM
Meet by the parking lot closest to City Council Chambers. The bus will be departing at 12:30 p.m. Please arrive 15 minutes early to board the bus.
Come join us for a Mobile Tour to other communities. We will tour nearby employment districts/business parks to investigate best practices that could be appropriate for Menlo Park. The double decker bus will take us to North Bayshore area of Mountain View, Peery Park in Sunnyvale and the Gilead Campus in Foster City to compare varying examples of design, infrastructure, and mobility treatments and options.
FOCUS GROUP #2
October 16, 2014
7:00 - 9:00 PM
Arrillaga Family Recreation Center, Oak Room
Pedestrians? Bicyclists? Transit? Vehicles? We would like to hear your perspective on how mobility and connectivity can be improved throughout the City. The focus group will allow us to explore and discuss different modes of transportation and various metrics used to measure transportation performance.
ConnectMenlo SurveyWhat are your long-term priorities for the City?
You're invited to answer that question at
www.menlopark.org/ConnectMenloSurvey.
As part of ConnectMenlo, the City's General Plan Update, the City is asking for your input. This question is featured on the City's
Open City Hall online forum, where you can express your opinions for decision-makers to read and also see what other residents are saying. This information will help create Guiding Principles, or vision statements, for the General Plan Update and will be the foundation for associated goals, policies and programs.
We look forward to hearing your ideas about the future of Menlo Park, and how we can work to make it a better place for all.
The
online survey will be available until October 26, 2014. Thank you for participating!
