The Menlo Park police explorers coordinated their 6th annual One Warm Coat drive from Nov. 6, 2017, to Jan. 6, 2018. As a result, 135 coats and jackets were collected and donated to local shelters for adults and children. Police explorers appreciate the generous donations which allowed them to fulfill one of their community outreach goals. The need has never been greater as the weather has been cold and rainy. Thank you for helping spread warmth this winter!

One Warm Coat is a national nonprofit organization that supports and encourages coat drives. It helps individuals, groups, companies and organizations across the country collect coats and deliver them to local agencies that distribute the coats free to people in need. More than 1 million coats have been provided to those in need at no cost since its inception in 1992.
