The Police Department brings back “Friday Night Lights” for the fourth season. The 2017 season, first tailgate festivities will be Friday, Oct. 6, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club located at 401 Pierce Road and will be held in conjunction with the Boys & Girls Club “family night.” Youth and adults are encouraged to join the fun and enjoy food, ice cream, refreshments and giveaways as police officers and staff answer their questions, provide safety tips, and hand out autographed picture postcards and memorabilia.

These City hosted events have provided an opportunity, over the years, for patrol teams and police staff to meet the members of the community and get to know a little about them, answer questions, listen to their concerns, and most importantly, connect. These “tail-gate” party opportunities are well attended and have been held throughout the City of Menlo Park. Our patrol officers, detectives and special investigations will be on hand to meet you!
