Below are updates on the Willow-101 interchange construction. To keep up to date, please see the weekly Construction News Updates.

The segment of Bay Road between Willow and Windermere will be completely closed from 7 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Saturday through the end of August for the PG&E gas line relocations.

The on- and off-ramps between Willow and 101 will be closed intermittently. This will occur primarily at night and detours will be set up to direct drivers to other ramps. Willow and 101 will both be open. These closures allow crews to perform prep work to shift traffic lanes such as widening ramp pavement, adding temporary striping and placing construction barriers, so this is occurring frequently now. These will likely continue with less frequency through the duration of the project.

Next week, the northern sidewalk will be closed and pedestrians will be detoured to the south side of the bridge. Bikes will be detoured to the pedestrian bridge at Ringwood. The week of 7/24/2017, both sidewalks will be closed on the Willow bridge and a shuttle service will begin with stops on both sides of the interchange, for both directions of travel, will have room for bikes and will be available 24 hours a day. The City’s webpage will have detailed info about the shuttle service.
