Belle Haven Branch Library will kick off the summer with an ice cream social event Friday, June 16, at 3:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to gather at the branch library to enjoy free ice cream and learn about the summer reading program. Both the Belle Haven Branch and the Main Library are sponsoring a summer reading program that features entertainment, prizes, free books and a $1,000 scholarship drawing. And each week there is a drawing for tickets to Bay Area museums and features. Monterey Bay Aquarium, Tech Museum, Asian Art Museum and more!
