The construction of the Willow-101 interchange continues with PG&E’s relocation of overhead electric lines across 101 just north of Willow Road. Between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. Sunday, April 30, 2017, crews will be working on the freeway and CHP will be performing complete rolling stops in both directions during the work. Expect delays during this time or find alternative routes.

PG&E begins relocating gas lines in the Bay Road and Van Buren Road area the week of May 1, 2017. Van Buren Road between Bay Road and Windermere Avenue will be closed for work zone and material storage. Trenching will also begin on Bay Road at Van Buren Road and lanes may be closed or shifted for portions of the day.

Caltrans’ contractor is beginning work May 1, 2017, with installation of signs and traffic control devices. Beginning May 8, 2017, activities such as removing bushes and trees, installing stormwater protection equipment, removing medians and installing construction barriers will occur. For more details on the schedule, please check the Weekly Construction News Updates and the project webpage.
