An exciting winter session has started at
Onetta Harris Community Center with 20 percent higher attendance in winter classes over last year. This means 400 additional people are coming to the Center for classes and drop-in programs. Facebook is also renting the Center’s gym on Mondays and Wednesdays for Volleyball. OHCC staff has noted more people signing up for classes online and registering earlier than past years. New classes offered this winter and spring that seem to be generating additional participation include: Ballet 1, 2 & 3, Cheer 1, 2 & 3, Jazz, Parent & Me Gym, Little Gym, Tiny Ninjas Martial Arts (Karate), Young Samurai Martial Arts (Karate), adult kickboxing/self-defense, Zumba Toning, hip-hop Zumba, resistance/weight training, Mindfulness Practices and Happy Hour Yoga.
