Congresswoman Jackie Speier and Assemblyman Kevin Mullin will be holding the next Job Hunters Boot Camp on November 21, 2014, at the San Mateo County Events Center. Approximately 500 attendees are expected to visit with the 40-50 employers anticipated to be at the event. In addition to wide public and media promotion, the California Employment Development Department has mailed hundreds of postcards to area residents inviting them to attend. To sign up for Job Hunters Boot Camp, an individual should go to www.speier.house.gov to register. Workshops at the event will cover topics such as Job Search Strategy, Interviewing, Networking, LinkedIn profile management, Mature Workers, Veterans and a special workshop for recent college graduates.
