Public Works Transportation staff will host a Nativity School Community meeting Thursday, March 23, 2017, from 7–8 p.m. at the school campus, 1250 Laurel St. The purpose of the meeting is to provide information to parents on what changes to expect from the pilot installation of buffered bike lanes on Oak Grove Avenue as well as the impacts on student drop off and pickup procedures. Buffered bike lanes are conventional bike lanes paired with a designated buffer space separating the bicycle lane from the adjacent motor vehicle travel lane. In order to fit buffered bike lanes, one side of Oak Grove Avenue will have parking removed. Parents will have the opportunity to ask questions and give feedback on the new school traffic circulation changes. If you need more information the Transportation Department at 650-330-6713 or
transporation@menlopark.org.
