A Draft Infill Environmental Impact Report (Draft Infill EIR) has been prepared to evaluate the environmental impacts of the proposed Middle Plaza at 500 El Camino Real Project, which includes construction of approximately 144,000 square feet of non-medical office uses, 10,000 square feet of retail uses, and 215 residential units on an 8.4-acre site. The Draft Infill EIR was prepared in conformance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and includes analysis on potential air quality, noise, and transportation/traffic impacts.
The public review period for the Draft Infill EIR started on Tuesday, Feb. 28 and will end on Thursday, Apr. 13. Hardcopies of the document are available for review at City Hall and the Main Library, and a digital copy is available on the City’s website. The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the Draft Infill EIR and study session on the proposed development on Mar. 27, 2017. More detailed information is provided on the 500 El Camino Real Project page.
