The Aztec Dance class officially started at Onetta Harris Community Center on September 8, 2014. This new class teaches the traditional dances of Mexico and has become one of the fall favorites at Onetta Harris Community Center. This class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 pm. Gerardo Salinas-Gomez teaches mostly in San Jose, but was very interested in introducing this class to the Belle Haven Neighborhood. Many of the students say that it is a great way to learn about a new culture and get a fabulous workout at the same time. The Traditional Aztec Dance class will also be offered during the winter and spring season. Registrations will be starting December 1st for residents and December 8th for non-residents.
