For almost three decades, Jackie Drew has been a stalwart volunteer at the
Menlo Park Library but she will be moving out of the area and retiring from her volunteer duties this month. Through her tireless efforts with the Friends of the Library, especially in the area of special or auction quality books, she helped raise funds that support programming and additional services at the library. The book auction that took place at the annual book fair was her specialty. Jackie is also a big fan of mystery fiction and leads the library's monthly mystery reader discussion group. Over the years, her group has hosted several well-known local mystery writers highlighting the talent that abounds in this area. Jackie will be returning to her childhood home of Billings, Montana, and has already decided that she will be at the Billings Public Library ready to volunteer even before she unpacks all her bags. Thank you Jackie for all your service to the Menlo Park Library!
