The community is invited to a neighborhood meeting on Oct. 30th to discuss transportation & access to the future Laurel Upper School. The City of Menlo Park and the City of East Palo Alto received grant funds to provide bicycle markings, signage, sidewalk gap closure, and crosswalk enhancements in association with the opening of the new school. This neighborhood meeting will include a presentation of current issues identified in collaboration with the Menlo Park City School District during the planning of the Laurel Upper School, as well as potential solutions to improve circulation and safety in the school area, and to encourage bicycling and walking to/from school. Public input is an important part of the City's community engagement process. If you cannot attend, please contact City staff with questions or comments.
