Library closing early Oct. 15 for Comic Con

will close for regular business at 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 15, but then reopen for
! Join us for a fun afternoon and bring your friends to an afternoon of comic-related fun for adults and children alike! Attendees will experience live music from the Cantina Band and Margaret & Kristoph, cosplay, a photo booth, guest speakers, film screenings, comic book trading, vendor booths, artists, Pokémon GO and crafts for all.
3 p.m. The Cantina Band: Music from movies, video games and more
5 p.m. Margaret & Kristoph: The Music of J.R.R. Tolkien
Seminars and classes
4 p.m. "Women in Comics" with Anna Cebrian, founder and CEO of Illusive Comics & Games, Isle of Gamers and Illogical Associates Publishing
5 p.m. "Manga Mania" class with Karen Luk (for ages 10-18); pick up a wrist band at the front door to attend this two-hour class
6 p.m. "How to Get Your Comics Published" with Anna Cebrian
3:15 p.m. Kimba the White Lion, Season 1, Episode 1: "Go, White Lion!" (1965)
