Laurel Upper School opens to students Monday, Oct. 17. In preparation, the City of Menlo Park has been installing new sidewalks along the path to the new campus. A majority of the Menalto Avenue/O’Connor Street sidewalk project has been completed and is now open. To avoid additional traffic congestion associated with the first days of school, the few remaining work areas will be restricted until construction resumes Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016. The City appreciates the ongoing patience and support from residents in the vicinity of the school during construction of the sidewalks. Please remember to drive safely in school zones and be on the lookout for children headed to the new school next week.
