Enjoying the great outdoors in San Mateo County just got easier! San Mateo County Parks will host trial runs of its new
park shuttle service September 10, 11, 17 and 18 before the official launch Saturday, Sept. 24. The weekend shuttles will link East Palo Alto City Hall to Edgewood County Park & Natural Preserve in Redwood City and eastern Menlo Park’s
Marketplace Park to
Wunderlich County Park in Woodside. Intermediate stops for both shuttles include Fair Oaks Community Center and Redwood City Transit Center. The shuttle service begins at 9 a.m. every Saturday and Sunday. View the
route map and
proposed schedule for more information. It’s convenient – you can leave your car at home, avoid traffic congestion and crowded park parking lots and help reduce fuel emissions at the same time. Enjoy hiking, picnicking or nature exploration at these parks and attend any scheduled nature walks, history programs or other events led by County Park Rangers or park partners.
