Applications are currently being accepted for the Menlo Park Community Police Academy. The Academy gives our community members firsthand information on how and why the police department operates, and takes a look at the culture of police work and the organization. It provides an excellent opportunity for the public to interact with department members. So, if you want to learn more about what police officers and staff do every day and are interested in criminal law, forensics or investigations, this is the place for you.

The Academy is a nine-week program open to ages 16 years and older, and takes place on Wednesdays, starting Sept. 21, 2016, from 6:30-9:30 p.m., and ending Nov. 9, 2016. If you are interested in applying, please complete the application before the deadline on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016.
