Reptiles visit Belle Haven Library for summer science

Posted on July 29, 2016 at 7:33 pm by Clay Curtin

Who said that snakes are scary? Not the 125 children who came to the Belle Haven Branch Library on July 21 to see Python Ron and his reptiles. Everyone wanted to be part of the boa constrictor lineup. Science programming is a major feature in our library and one way that we support the educational learning experience throughout the long summer break. Earlier in the day, a fascinated audience of children and adults at the main library saw the fennec, genet, serval, hedgehog, alligator, wallaby and other exotic animals from Classroom Safari. It's only midsummer and there is much more exciting programming to come.
