Enjoy an evening to socialize, meet and greet your neighbors and police staff Tuesday, Aug. 2, for
National Night Out between 6-9 p.m. This year will be a repeat of last year where several Menlo Park neighborhoods will be hosting outdoor gatherings. Block parties will take place throughout Menlo Park in the Willows, Sharon Park, Allied Arts and Belle Haven neighborhoods.
National Night Out is an annual nationwide event that encourages residents to get out in the community, plan block parties and get to know their neighbors as a way to encourage crime prevention. It is a great way to promote community-police partnerships and enjoy a Menlo Park summer evening surrounded by friends and family. Contact Community Service Officer
Gonee Sepulveda for more information on how to
host or participate in a block party.
