Wednesday, June 15, downtown Menlo Park will be filled to the brim as the Annual Downtown Block Party and Menlo Park Summer Concert Series events send us into summer.

The entire Santa Cruz Avenue strip invites families to enjoy the 10th Annual Downtown Block Party from 5-9 p.m. This year expect a number of activities for children and adults of all ages including rows of classic cars, live music, a giant inflatable slide, children’s area, paseo chalkboard, a next-generation virtually reality exhibit provided by Oculus, the Menlo Park Library's centennial celebration and plenty of outdoor dining. Arrive early to beat the crowd and ride your bike for the best parking in town! 

At the intersection of Santa Cruz Avenue and University Avenue, Fremont Park is the place for music as the Beatles tribute band, The Sun Kings, always draws a large crowd with their fabulous collection of Beatles tunes representing a nostalgic era of music. The concert runs 6:30-8:00 p.m. and is full of passion, energy, humor and great music. The Summer Concert Series runs throughout the summer and serves as a great venue for friends and families to come together and see remarkable talent.
