The Draft Environmental Impact Report for ConnectMenlo, the City’s General Plan and M-2 Area Zoning Update, is now available for review and comment. An EIR is designed to provide the public and decision-makers with an analysis of potential environmental consequences to support informed decision-making. The EIR analyzes potential impacts of the proposed project in a variety of topic areas, including transportation, biological resources, greenhouse gas emissions, public services and recreation. 

On Monday, June 20, 2016, the Planning Commission will meet at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers (701 Laurel St.) to receive comments on the ConnectMenlo EIR. At that meeting, commissioners will also receive public comments on the Draft EIR for the proposed Facebook Campus Expansion project located at 300-309 Constitution Drive. Both EIRs are available for review at the Community Development Department, the Main Library and the Belle Haven Branch Library, and online at each project’s webpage.

The final EIR for each project will address comments received before the respective deadlines listed above.
