The Sequoia Union High School District
is recruiting applicants to serve on the District’s Construction Citizen Oversight Committee. The Committee will meet four times per year to monitor expenditures for the building projects funded by the Measure A school construction bond approved on the June 3, 2014, election ballot. Measure A authorized the District to increase its debt by $265 million through issuance of general obligation bonds in order to update, renovate, repair, construct and purchase district facilities and technology. Applications
are available on the District’s website and are due by August 29, 2014. Final appointments of committee members will be announced by the District’s Board of Trustees on September 17, 2014.
