Caltrans notified the City that the traffic signal switch over at Willow Road and Bayfront Expressway, has been rescheduled for Thursday, Jan. 28, starting at 10 a.m. The operation should take about four hours with traffic delays expected during the work. Menlo Park police will assist with the traffic control to minimize impacts as much as possible.

This is part of the Facebook traffic mitigation and drainage improvements at the intersection of Willow Road and Bayfront Expressway, which are nearing completion. As part of the project to add a third right turn lane from Willow Road toward the Dumbarton Bridge, the traffic signal has been modified and new traffic signal poles were previously installed.
