While Menlo Park continues to offer several free shuttle options for local residents, area transit agencies have approved fare increases for 2016. These include:

• BART increase of 3.4 percent effective Jan. 1
• SamTrans increase of 25 cents effective Jan. 10
• Caltrain increase of 50 cents effective Feb. 28
