Employees enjoyed fellowship and a great lunch at the Annual Employee Recognition event held on Dec. 10. Along with longevity awards, five employees were recognized with special Employee Excellence Awards, which are nominated and chosen by employees. This year’s winners included:

- Teamwork – Nancy Melgar (Public Works)
- Special Accomplishment – Nicole Acker (Police)
- Innovation - Mary Ferguson (Police)
- Leadership – Carlos Castro (Public Works)
