On Wednesday, Sept. 30, Hayes Group Architects submitted a proposal on behalf of 1275 LLC to construct a mixed use development at 1275 El Camino Real, the site of the former Park Theater. The proposal consists of ground floor retail, second floor office space, and three residential units on the third floor. The 0.4-acre project site is part of the El Camino Real/Downtown Specific Plan. The project is currently being reviewed by staff and will require environmental review to determine consistency with the Specific Plan EIR as well as Architectural Control review by the Planning Commission.
