The Police Department brings back “Friday Night Lights” for a new season. This is a fun opportunity for the community and police staff to meet and greet. On Friday, Sept. 4 the tailgate festivities were located on the “Paseo” at Chestnut/Santa Cruz Ave. in conjunction with the kickoff of “Guardians of the Galaxy.” This was the first movie of the City of Menlo Park’s 2015 movie series. Youth and adults enjoyed pizza, popcorn, and giveaways as the police officers and staff answered their questions, provided safety tips, and handed out autographed picture postcards. The next “Friday Night Lights” is Oct. 16, 2015.
