It is the start of our youth soccer season here in Menlo Park and all the teams are out in full force getting ready for the season. The City of Menlo Park has two approved user group organizations, AYSO Region 109 and the Alpine Strikers. Together, both organizations develop over 2,500 youth soccer players. Teams practice during the week and play most games on the weekends throughout the fall. The season kicks off after Labor Day and continues through early December. Head on out to your local sports field and you might just be watching the next great U.S. Team’s World Cup star.
