Enjoy an evening to socialize, meet and greet your neighbors and police staff Tuesday, Aug. 4, for National Night Out between 5-9 p.m. This National Night Out is shaping up to be a great event like last year where several Menlo Park neighborhoods will be hosting outdoor gatherings. Block parties, approved by the City, will be located throughout Menlo Park neighborhoods in the Willows, Sharon Park, Allied Arts and Belle Haven, which boasts two events in the community. National Night Out is an annual nationwide event that encourages residents to get out in the community, plan block parties and get to know their neighbors as a way to encourage crime prevention. It is a great way to promote community-police partnerships and enjoy a Menlo Park summer evening surrounded by friends and family.
