On June 6, 2015, the City hosted the Belle Haven Community Resource Fair at Belle Haven Center located on Hamilton Avenue and Willow Road. Over 140 residents participated in the three-hour event where over 20 local agencies and business owners that serve the Belle Haven neighborhood provided information and giveaways for attendees. Food samples were provided from Togo’s, Five Star Pizza, Starbucks and Mi Taqueria. The event was a good collaboration between the City, local merchants, various nonprofits and other service providers. The last time a similar event was held was nearly two years ago during the early stages of the Belle Haven Visioning process. The event was well received with positive reviews from participating businesses, agencies and members of the public.
