Monday, June 1, at 7:00 p.m.at the Menlo Park Senior Center, 100 Terminal Avenue, is the
joint Bicycle and Transportation Commission meeting to discuss the City’s transportation goals, policies and infrastructure needs under the update of the citywide Circulation Element as part of
ConnectMenlo, the city’s General Plan Update process. Jeff Tumlin from Nelson/Nygaard will be presenting information about relevant transportation policy best practices, recent and upcoming changes to state laws that may affect Menlo Park, how a place-based approach can lead to innovative resolutions to both existing and future transportation issues, and facilitate discussion about current transportation conditions as well as planning for future development in the M-2. Come and provide your input on potential changes to City standards and policies (e.g., street classification system, performance metrics, etc.).
