The Grand Boulevard Initiative is a collaboration of 19 cities, counties, local and regional agencies united to improve the performance, safety and aesthetics of El Camino Real. On April 27, 2015, Senior Planner Thomas Rogers made a presentation to the GBI Working Committee, which is comprised of representatives from government agency GBI members, and which conducts research and makes recommendations to the GBI Task Force. The presentation described Menlo Park's experience planning for the El Camino Real corridor, and provided updates on approved and pending projects. This presentation was part of a series of agency updates, allowing staff members to discuss shared challenges and opportunities along this key corridor.
