Federal agencies are developing plans for a third or “booster” dose of Pfizer and Moderna mRNA COVID-19 vaccines for individuals eight months after their second dose, beginning as early as September 20, 2021. While this plan is still awaiting Food and Drug Administration approval, San Mateo County is already preparing for mass vaccination clinics and would like your thoughts on how to do this best.

This survey is meant to provide a better understanding of resident interest in receiving a booster or third dose of Pfizer or Moderna mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. You will need to schedule an appointment through a separate pathway once booster vaccinations begin in late September.
