On Tuesday, April 14, at 6:00 p.m. the Menlo Park City Council will host a
study session at the
Menlo Park Senior Center on defining “public benefit.” In the Bay Area, communities are experiencing strong development pressure for intensification of land uses to meet market demand and concerns about how to ensure value and improvements for the community. Attendees of the study session will hear about different approaches to defining “public benefit” and how other communities have shared in the potential windfall of new development.
Michael Yarne of
Build Public will facilitate the discussion.
