The City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo County (C/CAG) is in the process of updating their community-based transportation plans (CBTPs) in southeast San Mateo County and Daly City. The goal of these plans is to identify and improve transportation gaps and options for underserved communities and communities of concern, which includes the City of Menlo Park’s Belle Haven neighborhood and the Bayfront area.
These plans are seeking to establish solutions to transportation gaps through diverse outreach campaigns and coordination with local community groups. The final plans will include a series of transportation recommendations and solutions designed to benefit low-income residents, the disabled, senior citizens, those without vehicles and other disadvantaged communities. The recommendations will be prioritized with the assistance of a Steering Committee composed of volunteer stakeholders, city and transit agency staff and transportation experts.
Menlo Park residents wishing to provide their feedback and input on the southeast San Mateo County CBTP can complete the English survey or Spanish survey online. The survey links close Monday, February 1, 2021.
