San Mateo County’s
Great Plates Delivered program that provides delivery of nutritious meals from 60 local restaurants to 1,298 qualifying County residents has received additional funding and will continue until December 8, 2020. Senior applications to receive food through the County's program are being accepted at 800-675-8437.
The program meets the needs of residents who may have difficulty accessing meals while sheltering-in-place, and supports local restaurants impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Funding is through state and federal emergency management agencies. To qualify you must be 65 and older, or age 60-64 and at high-risk from COVID-19, or COVID-19 positive or have been exposed to COVID-19, and live alone or with one other eligible adult.
