The City of Menlo Park needs your help to keep the community clean, to ensure public safety and preserve the attractiveness of our neighborhoods. Dumping waste on public or private property is illegal. Trash blocking streets, sidewalks or parking plazas, creates safety and health hazards. If you see debris or large furniture, please let us know the location by sending a photo and reporting it through the
ACT Menlo Park app. For areas in unincorporated San Mateo County use their online request portal,
Report it! SMC.
Residents can request two free curbside pickups from Recology each year for bulky items. These can be items such as mattresses, couches or others. Schedule a bulky item pickup with Recology by calling 650-595-3900. If you exceed your number of free pickups, you may request additional collections for a fee. If you are a tenant in a multifamily apartment building, please contact your property manager to schedule a pickup. View
Recology's bulky item list, to see what can and cannot be accepted.
