The City continues to expand online services amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and is excited to launch the pre-application for building permits via the City’s online Permit and Record Web Portal. This new feature can be used to initiate any type of building permit request that is not already covered by a different application process, and keeps a critical city function in operation while City Hall remains closed. This new service will also enhance the way the City conducts business by making the process more streamlined, convenient and transparent.
While City Hall remains closed, access to City Hall and permit issuance continues to be by appointment only. New applications, simple permits, plan check responses to comments and revisions to issued permits continue to be accepted online. New planning applications for discretionary permits are also being accepted. Please
email the Planning Division to request to speak to a planner to coordinate the online submittal process.
