The fountains at the train station and City Hall are up and running again! Adhering to
water conservation measures during the drought, the fountains are filled with repurposed water collected by the Public Works department when flushing water mains. The water mains require flushing to remove sediment from the lines, ensuring safe drinking water for the public. This potable water is also collected and re-used for a variety of other maintenance tasks, including watering trees.
