Final week for this year’s Jerry Rice 25th Annual NFL Alumni Toy Drive

Mayor Ray Mueller announces the return of the Jerry Rice 25th Annual NFL Alumni Celebrity Toy Drive to downtown Menlo Park. Members of the community are encouraged to support the Domini Hoskins Black History Museum's effort to provide toys to those in need.

The toy drive is scheduled through December 14, between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. at 807 Santa Cruz Ave. (Santa Cruz Avenue and Crane Street). Admission to the event is $5.00 or a new unwrapped toy.

This year's event is possible through a joint effort between local NFL alumni, Menlo Park Mayor Ray Mueller and Menlo Park Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Fran Dehn. “When I asked Fran for help to secure a location for the toy drive, she enthusiastically got to work. Without her help, we wouldn’t have found a downtown location,” Mueller stated.

Dehn commented that the event is “an excellent opportunity to support two worthy efforts: toys for children in need and support of our Menlo Park small businesses by shopping locally.”
