Review Menlo Park’s average daily traffic data online

Posted on November 4, 2019 at 8:06 pm by Clay Curtin

The City of Menlo Park publishes traffic volume data spanning more than a decade in an online portal available to the public. Members of the community can access the data for major streets and see both historical traffic counts and traffic projections for 2040.

Using the traffic volume data map is easy. After navigating to the “Traffic volume data” webpage on the Transportation Division portion on the city website, residents can click the interactive map link or on the map itself to open the map in a new window. From there, it’s as simple as selecting a highlighted street on the map with your cursor to view recent and past average daily traffic counts, as well as a bar graph comparing them. The City collects average daily traffic counts for major streets every 2-3 years and as new counts are collected, they will be added to the tool.
