At the August 28, 2019, the Parks and Recreation Commission voted to support the Parks and Recreation Facilities Master Plan Update and send their recommendation to the City Council. The next step will be at the October 15, 2019, City Council meeting, when City Council will review the plan for acceptance.

draft Parks and Recreation Facilities Master Plan is available for public review.
The Parks and Recreation Facilities Master Plan serves as a guiding planning document for the City as it seeks to improve and maintain the parks and recreation facilities in Menlo Park. The plan identifies in a number of recommendations to be considered. Among the recommendations are the completion of a detailed feasibility study for the Belle Haven multi-generational campus, which includes the Onetta Harris Community Center, Menlo Park Senior Center, Belle Haven Pool and Belle Haven Youth Center.
Copies of the draft plan are also available in hardcopy at the Arrillaga Family Recreation Center, Onetta Harris Community Center, Menlo Park Library, Belle Haven Branch Library, Menlo Park Senior Center, City Hall and all other City recreation facilities.
