Officers to share their favorite books at Friday Night Reads

Posted on June 17, 2019 at 5:44 pm by Clay Curtin

Join the Police Department at the Friday Night Reads series planned for three of the City’s upcoming movie night events. The readings will take place before the movie each night where children and families are invited to meet their neighborhood police officers, eat pizza and get an autographed book of some of the officer's favorite stories. The books are geared for ages between 2 years and teens.

At each Friday Night Reads event, pizza and refreshments will be provided and children can listen to officer read excerpts from selected books. Each child will be able to select a book and have it signed by the officers. Library staff will also be on hand to provide information about our local Menlo Park libraries.
