The City is contracting with GameTime to design and build a new nature-themed playground at Nealon Park. The new playground will be a national demonstration site based on its unique and innovative inclusive playground features. The work to demolish the current playground and build the new playground starts Monday, June 10, and will last for approximately eight weeks with anticipated completion in August 2019. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

During the construction closure, park users are encouraged to visit other nearby city parks. 

When construction is complete, a sign will be located at the main entrance of the playground, which will show the playground layout and its features.
