Public feedback sought for San Mateo County active transportation plan

Posted on June 3, 2019 at 4:00 pm by Peter Ibrahim

The San Mateo County Office of Sustainability is working on the Unincorporated San Mateo County Active Transportation Plan and would like community feedback by July 12, 2019. This feedback will help define priorities for bicycle and pedestrian improvements in the County, including unincorporated County land in the Menlo Park area, to help close gaps in the network.

More information and opportunities for feedback are on the Unincorporated San Mateo County Active Transportation Plan website. Be sure to check out the interactive map, where you can share areas where you would like to bicycle/walk more or where it is currently difficult to bicycle/walk. Feedback and comments can be added to the map via plotted points or by you drawing routes directly on the map. Additionally, you can take the online survey.

To stay in touch with the project team to learn about future interactive workshops and pop-up events, please sign up for alerts. For more information, please contact San Mateo County’s Sustainability Specialist Kaley Lyons.
