Between July and September (first quarter) 2014, a year-over-year ridership increase of 10-15% occurred on the
Willow and Marsh Road routes. Several of the runs are operating at full capacity, meaning “standing room only,” along Willow Road. Additionally, since July 2014 a new expanded Saturday Shoppers’ Shuttle route has seen a 50% ridership increase. The City monitors monthly performance of the routes based on ridership and costs, and is exploring options with the program's funding partners to provide larger buses to serve the increasing demand of new riders. The City’s shuttle program has been in operation since 1985, providing several public shuttle options for the community. These routes provide connections to Caltrain, local shopping destinations and services, as well as local employment centers. For more information, visit the City’s
Shuttle Program webpage or call 650-330-6770.
