Throughout the summer, the City has been working to install new high visibility crosswalks on Central Avenue at Elm and Walnut Streets. With the new school year starting, these locations were selected for crossing improvements to increase the safety of pedestrians and children as they cross the street. The improvements installed include high-visibility yellow crosswalks across all four legs of both intersections and crosswalk signage in the street.
With school back in session we encourage drivers to please slow down and watch for pedestrians and students. These improvements help the Menlo Park school community get to and from school each day.

Transportation Division.
